    I went on March 11. I went in for 10 am appointment and was out at 10.10 am. Fulltime, first time H1B stamping. Simple questions - where did I do my education, what do I do in my current job, then the officer asked for W-2s from last two years and that was it.

    No. Wife's status change is independent of husband. H1 status of husband is not invalidated by wife's use of EAD.

    Hi there!
    I was reading some info abt EAD on this site and have come to know that Once H4 visa holders get their EAD's can work after getting SSN.But I read that If H4 visa holders start working as soon as they got EAD's.Does this invalidate H1 visa status if wife starts working on EAD.Please clarify my doubt.

    We are family of four and have the following status

    Self - Adjustment of Status (AOS - 485 filed in July'07), AP, EAD and a valid H1 (renewed recently)
    Spouse - AOS 485 (filed in July'07), AP, EAD, H4 expired end of April 2010
    Son 14 yrs. old - AOS 485 (filed in July'07), AP, H4 expired end of April 2010
    Daughter - 11 yrs old - AOS 485 (filed in July'07), AP, H4 expired end of April 2010

    Does my family have valid status? Specially my kids since they don't have EAD. Shall I renew their H4 for valid status? I was in the impression that if 485 is filed then there is no need to renew H4. Please advice me. I am totally confused.

    Hi all!

    I'm currently working on a personal project of mine (word processor) and there are a few things i cannot seem to get my head around and i think that they are very simple to do too...Maybe... First, I'm trying to open a new instance of my program by simply clicking a menu option on my form. i'm using visual c# 08 express edition, windows forms application... I have attached an image (very small image) to show u what i mean.. i'd appreciate anyone's help/advice on this, thanks for reading :-)

    Does anyone know or have experience for visa stamping in Canada. My wife needs to get F1 stamp. She came to USA on H4 visa, applied for F1 status. It got approved and now I want to get F1 stamp.

    My Husband's I 140 got approved and his lawyer included my name as well in the I 140 application.

    Can some one plss help me by letting me know if I can change to F1 for my further studies inspite of my name being included in the I 140 application

    Hi,

    I am renewing advance parole (i-131 form) for me and my wife. Can some one answer what the "class of admission" means on the form and how do we fill it?

    I entered the US as H1-B but moved to EAD status last month.
    My wife entered the US on advance parole and is currently working on EAD.

    I am on 6th year and need to extend my h1b. My lawyer informs me that 45day letter from Backlog center is enough for 7th year extension.

    I thought we need to get the screen-shot of pending labor as a proof for 7th year extension.

    Does anyone got extension based on 45day letter for the 7th year or beyond....???

    I have to file a loan application which requires me to state if I am a Lawful Permanent resident alien or not; and I am not sure if I am, can somebody please clarify if I am a Lawful Permanent resident alien or not if I have a pening I-485 application and I am working on EAD?
